   I guess the first thing might be an introduction to who we are and what we do, so I'll start.

   My real name is Andrea Lane and I do portrait and wedding photography. The wedding stuff I do with my business partner Keith. I'm happily married to Arnold (Yes, that's right, Arnold Lane, remember Pink Floyd's song?) with 4 kids and 10 grandkids.

   I've been a professional photographer for around 4 years, part time and full time for around 18 months. I also work four hours a week at Jessops in Hemel Hempstead. The pay is bad but I get to work in what seems like a toy shop to me. :) I spend more than I earn. You do get good discounts! :)

   I love taking evening/night/low light/off camera flash type photos but don't get out enough to play (not as much as I'd like to). Mind you I have a wedding at 4pm in a church in Scotland this Friday...

   I also run http://www.photographers4charity.co.uk, baby sit twice a week for three of my grandkids etc etc. Don't do much really. :)

   I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer last year but I'm doing fine and loving life.

   Well hello Peachy..

   Good to meet you! I am Simon, a professional musician working in school orientated workshops and music composition. I am approx 2 hours from central London. I have mostly shot wildlife and landscape, I especially love night photography and the challenges that brings.
   However I am now starting to be offered commercial work in vehicles.

   I am new to the idea of making a living from photography and would ideally see some of my existing work sell, even though I have supplied my local tourism office with imagery.

   Well thats about it from me, though other members reading this thread might like to know that Peachy and I have known each other for many years now (2002) and have met on several occasions..

   Hi,

   As you may have guessed from my username my name is Lisa :) I'm a full time professional photographer specialising in portrait and wedding photography.

   I come from an IT background and love the technical side :) Earlier this year my husband gave up his job and now works with me full time.

   This year has been a good year for me and I'm on track for where I want to be ! I have been lucky having two good mentors who have given me a lot of help and support :)
